The 36th AIVC conference: 'Effective ventilation in high performance buildings' was held on 23 & 24 September 2015 in Madrid together with the 5th TightVent and the 3rd venticool conferences. There were 160 participants.
The conference consisted of 3 parallel sessions largely devoted to:
- Thermal comfort and ventilative cooling
- Air infiltration through leaks in the building envelope and ductwork
- Ventilation in relation to Indoor Air Quality and health
The conference consisted of a mixture of presentations from the call for papers and presentations upon invitation, organized in well prepared and structured sessions focused on the conference theme and topics. Some sessions consisted of presentations from the call for papers only, other sessions were topical sessions with presentations proposed by a session organizer and by the organizing committee.
The conference was an initiative from INIVE on behalf of the AIVC, TightVent Europe and venticool in collaboration with the Eduardo Torroja Institute for Construction Science - IETcc-CSIC.
